The basic rule
Pebble Merge is a merge puzzle. You drop one pebble at a time. Whenever two pebbles of the same tier touch each other, they fuse into a single pebble of the next tier. The goal is to climb the ladder from rough stone to cut gem without letting the pile reach the top of the board.

The 11-tier ladder
Every merge moves you one step up. The first tiers are dull, unfinished stone; the final tiers are polished, faceted gems. Here is the full ladder:
| Tier | Name | Look |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sand | Dull pale stone |
| 2 | Clay | Warm brown pebble |
| 3 | Moss | Soft green stone |
| 4 | Jade | Polished green |
| 5 | Celestite | Light blue, first facets |
| 6 | Sapphire | Deep blue gem |
| 7 | Amethyst | Cut purple gem |
| 8 | Garnet | Red faceted gem |
| 9 | Topaz | Golden yellow gem |
| 10 | Aquamarine | Bright teal gem |
| 11 | Sunstone | Rare glowing gem |
Beginner tips
- Keep the board low. A tall, narrow stack is how rounds end. Spread drops across the width.
- Merge from the bottom up. Settling a pebble onto a matching partner is better than stacking and hoping.
- Don't chase the top tier. The early merges score steadily; the rare Sunstone is a bonus, not the goal.
- Use Daily mode for a fair, shared board and a reason to come back tomorrow.
